Great vid. Looks like decent progress. I'm excited for them. Their carbon fiber molding looks very similar to how I've done carbon fiber molding. Very cool. I hope to see them on the grid. The more interest brough to F1 through fair, competitive, innovative sport, the better.

The molded carbon fiber looks awesome, it amazes me when i see all them machines in that video, it would be scary to think just how much all that equipment would cost$$$$$

Nice overall website: clean, simple and generally informative.

However...(Sm154)

The greater Charlotte area/I85 corridor is only one of two equally large & important motor sports centers in the States. The west side of Indianapolis & the nearby town of Brownsburg (where I grew up) are home to most of the IndyCar, USAC and NHRA (drag racing) squads, as well as many of the parts suppliers - such as Impact Racing, which makes safety gear - that service not only them but alot of the NASCAR squads as well.

Thanks for the link Whitey. I now think USF1 can make it, although how well they perform remains to be seen.

they can make a car but can they do it over and over again during the season, and do they have drivers? still so many questions up in the air.

Just remebered the affiliation USGP are going to have with youTube. Should be really great to follow the team on youTube as a fan of the sport.

Good stuff.

they can make a car but can they do it over and over again during the season...

That was my thought watching the vid,,..its ok to machine stuff,..but track feedback could well expose quality control and design short comings. It could take them a couple of years to build up their own performance and procedure knowledge base, based of actually track testing vs. CAD design.

the affiliation is with the founder of youtube who has sold the company, so whether youtube decide to show extra usf1 coverage is debatable.

Of course the video does not show that they have the funds to maintain production, or the skill to competently design and race the car, or to analyse the data, but I was concerned that nothing was going on, but clearly, sticking a car on the bahraini grid now seems very feasible. So in that sense alone- I think they will "make it"

Ken Anderson speaks very unconvincingly. He has no authority in his speaking or mannerisms and trails off weakly at the ends of words.

His eyes wander off andI get the feel he is more trying to convince us of something he does not believe in than driving home to us something he knows.

I have never seen a successful man like himself come accross so poorly.

Just watched the Ken Anderson interview video on the website... You are very right, Duffer. He seems like a softie. I noticed he said of the investors, "They believe in the project". Rather than, "we believe in the project" or "I believe in the project"

Doesn't bode well for leadership. Let's hope that Peter Windsor can bring some enthusiasm for this.

An update on progress at USF1:

They plan to have a car ready to test in early February, at Barber Motorsports Park, which is just outside Birmingham AL.

Keeping my fingers crossed... (Sm13)

Peter Windsor did say that it will have a blue 'base', which has traditionally been the 'American' color for F1 squads.
