To me there's no exciting point in the design itself...and looks like they have gone longer wheel base too.

The car lacked downforce last year, which put them at the back at most races except for Spa and Monza. I don't see much difference in this car, although its true, my knowledge of the VJM02 is fairly limited. My first impression was that with their drivers and this cautiously modified car, they seem limited by money and should not pose a threat. I hope I don't have to eat these words later in the year!

(I love where that Sato ad has found itself in that top pic- It looks like he is a tiny budding driver for them this year.)

It seems a triple decker diffuser to me

they have a boozy sponsorship scheme.... whyte Mackay, Kingfisher, signature, and royal challenge. that must be a fun motorhome.

No wonder Kimi was always crashing into Sutil.

Posting here after 2 years ... (after Nakajima Era). The pictures have something interesting apart from the triple diffuser.
1.The air intake on the top of the driver has an additional opening on the sides. Is this something used to cool the fuel tank? Everybody is talking abt maintaining the fuel temperature.

2.The fish fin engine cover has a slit. some Aero stuff?

The front suspension looks like ours.

The additional opening could be for cooling the oil pump.

hi guys! i think we are a smaller team when compared to williams, which has a great racing tradition, but we had an amazing last year, our car this year is pretty good, even though its an evolution of last year's car. I think the problems with downforce are looked at. i think we have a very sculpted front wing and watch out for the ddd and the whole back end. I hope we give a good run and compete well with u guys.... also for ur comfort i hope the cossie works well...
