Turn work experience into an apprenticeship

Hi all,

I have managed to get some work experience for a week in August at Williams F1, and I also have a place to study aeronautical engineering at Liverpool University in September (contemplating changing late to Automotive engineering at Loughborough, but thats another story!).

However, in all honesty, I'm not overly fussed about studying aeronautical engineering, or going to university at all really! The best outcome would be for me to get an apprenticeship of some description at Williams (or another team, or a formula 3 team etc) but this is a great rarity and highly unlikely.

But, because I have the work experience, have any of you got any advice as to how I could turn a week's work experience into an apprenticeship or similar? Also, any ideas what I can expect from this week?

Thanks in advance.

rom what I hear management say, they look to University Graduates, maybe best to ask on your week's work experience. In the end here is too much competition for jobs in any industry i feel but there is not harm in applying for apprenticeships to see what you get, if not go to University.

Not sure if you have seen this link below
