That is beautiful. I'd love to see that on our car!

It's just a better piece of graphic design. I think it would look equally good in dark blue. But I suspect PDVSA are insisting on red on white, so that limits options. Plus you can't fill up all the space or you have to downsize existing sponsors when another comes along, which might lead to them downsizing budgets.

It can't be easy to do livery.

The nose is much better though . . . more flowing.

And it's a better balance between white and blue. Reminds me of the joke about the Zebra asking God whether he was a black zebra with white stripes or a white zebra with black stripes .. . if you remember that one.

oh man!!

That reskinned Williams is shexy!

The front bit kind of reminds me of the '97 Arrows that Hill almost won with.

exactly my thoughts smiling smiley

Nice skin, but don't like the nose, as W-F1-F said, it looks like Arrows A18

I emailed Jason Somerville yesterday with an aero concept for the FW34. Can't wait to see if he responds. I'll be a chuffed bunny if they follow it up and it pops up on the car later in the year.

I dont particularly want to say what it was at this point but itsan idea I thought of years ago. I had a contact at sauber who said that arrows tested it back in 94 and said it didn't work. I think that the unique rear end of the 34 will lend itself well to the concept so I submitted it to Jason. Hopefully he will let me know what he thinks. If arrows teste it before it must have some merit!

That mock skin looks really well

Of the liveries we've had since the end of the BMW days, I liked the 2007 one best, with more white on it, especially the cockpit top and nose.

Can't remember exactly but wasn't the reason they changed to more blue again for 2008 due to either a complaint from BMW themselves, or from some other factor, that the livery was too similar to that used by BMW Sauber?

Williams' traditional colour is navy blue. The only need for white is to provide a backdrop for the Red PDVSA logo.

I prefer the current Williams livery. It is simple and smart. Williams are the dark horses with space available for major new sponsorship- this livery reflects that perfectly.

Anything extra is a distraction. If I would make one suggestion, it would be to reposition the ridge logo to cover up the conspicious plain blue bump of the nose.
Either that or do a Sauber / Ferrari and put the race car numbers there- 18 / 19.

I hate the look of the numbers on the ridge to be honest. Especially the font on the Ferrari. It looks like it's out of a 1980's computer game like Elite, stuck on by a 4 year old.

Scottish blue is our traditional livery. I always preferred to see the cars brighter though. White and yellow, while and green, or white and blue. Have we ever won a race with a dark livery? I can't recall that we have. Hated the red livery.

Williams and proud of it.

Part of me likes it, the other part thinks it looks like the rest of the car has just vommited the nose out.

Still one the most interesting looking car of all time.
I called it the hammerhead not walrus like some others lacking in creativity.

In retrospect I should have called it the sabertooth.

The Sauber looks fantastic, not sold on the Ferrari though, too much black at the front. Don't get me wrong, it's not bad by any stretch.

I agree, that Sauber looks fantastic- it would stand out uniquely with the rest of the field. Usual rules apply though- if Telmex don't pay enough to justify a sidepod position, it shouldn't be there.

The Sauber is indeed awesome.

A classic Ferrari livery should have unpainted wings and scarlet body (no black) and GOLD WHEELS!!
