but was it the new wing or the old one?(Sm105)
EDIT:

Nevermind. Got it now(Sm145)

I think I interpret as New Floor works with Old Front Wing.

New floor could work with the OLD Front Wing

but

New floor will work better with the NEW Front Wing!

Yeah, they seem to have been running with the old wing most of the day. Let's what they do tomorrow.

I don't like talk of potential. It sounds all too familiar. Did the new parts work or are they at what we have come to expect as normal for our new bits?

Williams and proud of it.

I just like looking at the cars...during pre-season.

That & watching the herd jump back & forth frothing..for apparently no reason. LOL!

I hope this new front wing works-that overhead shot is fantastic- it's so dramatically curved! I'm amazed such curves are barely noticeable from any other angle.

If you were to compare the front wings of Sauber and Williams at this stage, you would have to say Sauber's looks much cruder, and perhaps lacking in development funds by comparison-the end plates look so basic, either that, or they have simply nailed a really efficient wing, or they are keeping the one they will really race a secret. I hope it's the first suggestion!

Btw, What was there to spot on the overhead rear shots of the Williams? They were trying out new rear suspension, but I couldn't see anything different on those photos.

Thanks to Lamag for his sharing of info.

Issues cut Williams' first day short at Barcelona
ESPNF1 Staff
March 1, 2012 Grosjean had 'no worries' about Lotus E20 on testing return | Petrov: No low-fuel glory run from Caterham

Pastor Maldonado said Williams did not complete the mileage it had hoped for on the first day of the final test at Barcelona, but still gathered some data on its upgrades for the first race.

After a positive test last week, Maldonado clocked just 58 laps on Thursday and set the slowest time overall. The team said it was experimenting with a new front wing and some "exploratory mechanical set-ups" aimed at the forthcoming races.

"During the day, we encountered a couple of issues which limited running and which we are currently investigating," chief operations engineer Mark Gillan explained.

Maldonado added: "We didn't complete as much running as we would have liked today, but we still gathered some good data. This morning we ran our new front wing so we will analyse the results from our aero runs this evening. We completed a few longer runs during the afternoon as we investigated a number of set-up directions."
