I feel OK with how FM is going but LS really does need to get his head into gear and start focusing on the job at hand rather than always complaining about his car.

Morning all.
Stroll knows this track like the back of his hand now
but still he cannot control the car.

Massa should get us into top 8 again today with a clean laps.

LS in fifth but on the soft tyre but they are well used so it is looking a bit better. FM down in 9th but on the medium tyre.

Sixteen minutes remaining LS 8th and FM 16th with Lance having set his time on the soft tyre.

If strolls 17th place was on new rubber we need to sign maldonado again. I'd rather have him back than endure a season of lance snail

No doubt Stroll is flattering Massa. Alonso is proof of that.

there is no excuse if he qualifies towards the back row in a track where he spend lots of mileage during winter practice

Yeah, but this is a transition year or so it's said on this board ad nausem and Williams does need the money and it not like the car can score podiums?

But i regress, in recalling a time in F1 where rookies like Massa and others could practice at will.

How many testing miles did Williams last WDC clock up?

No doubt Stroll is flattering Massa. Alonso is proof of that.

No doubt Vandoorne is flattering Alonso. P9/P19

Mind you, I still believe the flattery of Lowe and Smedley who can see the data, or the flattery of neutral autosport trackside observers, all of whom are saying the same thing about Massa in 2017. The guy is at the top of his game.

are we so slow? all others seem to have caught us and we are no longer a clear 4th it seems, or maybe just this track?

Maybe the car is still poor and we have to compromise setup for race pace more than better chassis at present.
