current forecast looks a lot better. No chance of rain. That was the sky commentators opinion regarding sunday as well.

We can hope!

Wet races are dull anyway. It's all behind the Safety Car until it dries out.

Expecting another normal race for Williams with Massa somewhere betwen 6th and 10th and Stroll outside the points or DNF.
The 4th best car in F1 but with only one driver the constructors won't show that at the end of the season..
6th is the most probable...
Well it's either the money or the racing.. with so many good drivers out there.

This is shaping up to be a super race. Head to head Ferrari and Mercedes. Great stuff! It's a shame Williams couldn't also be in the mix. Perhaps next year?

Anyways, the race being in my time zone means I get to enjoy a few cold wobbly pops. Duffer and dexter333 will probably be sawing logs so i'll enjoy one for them too.

Yes, looking forward to this one.

Verstappen seems to have the edge on RIC at this track. He has been very quick.

Merc may have got qualy by dint of engine modes and the long straight . . . who knows. Race may be different.

Everyone seemed to be really pushing in qualy . . . maybe reaction to Monaco. But it was fun.

1 pitstop, just boring race i think. We need stroll, ericson or palmer to have a crash, it will exciting.

Canada usually brings SC sessions in and even without that it should be a nice race like always.
So far this season, racing has been very good imo thanks to close midfield, closely matched top2 and harder overtaking.it feels alot more natural like pre DRS era.

I can hope for a 5th or 6th as RBR reliability doesn't look to be 100%.and then this track is one of the hardest ones on brakes, it may get even worse this year so maybe we will see some DNF there too and then there are 2 Honda engines running. All in all, with FW40 pace here, possibility of alot of reliability dnfs, all Stroll needs to do to score a point is to keep it out of the walls and be within 3tenths of a second from Massa on a 175second per lap circuit.not a big ask!

This race could be won by someone making an out off sink second pit stop during the SC period in a one stop race.

They put on a good show in Montreal. As someone said, 'the whole town gets involved.'

I noticed, in the press conference, that this is why the Liberty guy feels circuits should get more local government funding, instead of asking for reduced hosting fees.

But Silverstone isn't Montreal or Monaco . . . or any kind of population centre. F1 does not bring millions to a few chippies and a couple of Indian take-aways. He seems quite intransigent on this point.

Anyway, nice event in Canada.

Seems it was one of the Haas cars that started the mayhem.
