If he googles his name he'll come up with Plan 9 from Outer Space. Maybe it will give him some inspiration.

Probably not right now, Ozzy, as the actor Martin Landau has just died at the age of 89.

Then, in 1994, he played Lugosi, the faded horror star — now elderly, poor and morphine-addicted — in Tim Burton’s “Ed Wood.” Johnny Depp played Wood, the enthusiastic but inept 1950s filmmaker, who befriends and employs Lugosi. Mr. Landau’s performance earned him the Oscar and the Golden Globe for best supporting actor, as well as awards from the National Society of Film Critics, the New York Film Critics Circle, the Los Angeles Film Critics Association, the Chicago Film Critics Association, the Boston Society of Film Critics and the Screen Actors Guild.

i agree, the team gave him 11 years (2006/FW26-2017/FW40) to prove his ability, but what I see is that 11 cars have different design flaws. If the team wants to great again, he's level is not enough.

We need changes. This is our weak part, please Mr Ed, we loves WilliamsF1 so much, and this time to you say goodbye.

Solus like Dexter bring colour to an otherwise black and white forum.

I find it amazing that while some posters have nothing to offer in general, along comes a little controversy and everyone has an opinion.

Here on my side of the pond we have a saying, opinions are like a$$holes and everyone has one. (Sm46)

Interestingly the only things you offer is "this forum is full of this or full of that!"...otherwise you seem to have absolutely zero point to make! I can imagine everyday you google black/white type of forums to find and go there to moan about why is it black/white!

On the topic, I think we must give time to DeBeer to make a difference.

Ed Wood's not incompetent. Even if he's a leader of the design process, maybe other people in the organisation are to blame for the updates. The man has shown over the last four years straight he can oversee the design of a competent and neatly designed car, and in '14 and '15 the updates in particular were just fine. Do you really want to start blame games in the middle of a transition season, forcedown? It's frustrating, yes, but there's positivity to take from the team structure atm, and he's a key part of it right now.

It must be a cultural difference that leads you to draw the wrong conclusion? White as in "right" and black as in "wrong".

Personally I think the management back at Grove has out lived it usefulness. But it's always easier to blame the drivers, F1 in general or witch craft?

But yeah since you seem to prove my point a little bit of controversy got you to take notice,

No offence but what would Claire have to learn. I'm pretty sure she knows how to organise a team effectively, considering she's overseen the team's upturn. Unwind with a lager, forcedown. Stick on the telly. Put your feet up. Relax. Claire's getting the job sorted, Paddy's trying to get his feet under the table, and Ed Wood's drawing up ideas for next year while having a good pick of his nose. it'll be all fine mate. It'll all be fine.
