Ther will be no points i am afraid. If they compromised setup, that is ridiculous. They might as well line up on the grid pointing the cars the wrong way, that is how fast they will drop positions. Stroll in particular.

Sorry Duffer. That must sting a bit. Maybe STR will surprise us again the race. I'm not really interested in the car at the mo, I'm interested in how young Lance made Vettel look like a chump in the wet at the home of Ferrari. Lest we forget young VET's star turn in the Torro Rosso not so long ago (to me at least).

He may well bin it but lets see how the lad does. Starting to make you nay-sayers look a bit silly as predicted.

Lmao, it is not about skill, but hold onto that thought if it makes you feel better.

Seb in the STR at least managed to put it on pole and win the race. Whenlance does that, which will be never, come back and start a new thread. Until then, i dare you to post here after the race. That will be funny.

It's 830 am and the sun is burning already on the circuit. Drivers with compromised setups to favor a wet track more, will fall back.

They couldn't of compromised Lances setup too much. His top speed was 325 km/h without drs witch is up there with the best and he was up with the best in all speed traps. Massa was a bit slower speed vise, so maybe he compromised more. Wet compromise is adding downforce.

Wing settings are allowed to be changed. But a rain setup is more. It's stiffening the suspension, altering the ride height, alter the anti rollbar. Stuff like that. Stuff that isn't allowed to be changed once in parc ferme.

When stroll put the first good lap in Q1 I knew we was in for a shock
the conditions where so bad it had to be the car going well.

So the team does not know why the 40 was great in that extreme weather but
at least they now have something to work on and maybe send them in a new
direction with this car instead of scratching there heads they have good data
and can analyze the footage from qualie.

Stroll is a good starter i think so he may well lead into the first corner
we just need a clean race please and see how the 40 performs today.

Shame it is not on normal tv.

Geniune pace in that williams car. Maybe something has been mysteriously unlocked?

Yep I agree the Williams now seems to have some pace.
