I think the car this weekend is showing some good pace.
only our drivers slowing it down a bit

If the car is working well Stroll is usually quite close to Massa pace.

Has anybody got the link to stint times please.

Was listening to the live feed on the F1 app during Friday practice and boy did the guys from the BBC give Stroll a hard time in terms on how little he has improved over the season and that he is really not performing to the necessary level.

He as been improving just not that much, if we look at Williams situation the only reason about all this driver talks is we have one driver already who isn't that good so we need the other to ensure some points.

Surely you would agree a Kvyat/Kubica, Wehrlein/Kvyat, Wherlien/Kubica would be better line ups for next year than any of those with Stroll.

But Strolls not going anywere.

He hasn't got any quicker or closer to Massa, that's for sure.

To me it seemed gearbox. Anyway he would have qualified near the back.

A moment from max there, he looks struggling quite a bit

The quickest pairing would be Wehrlein/Kvyat. But we need the money. I'd be willing to bet that Kubica - *at the moment* - is the slowest of all the guys, but probably has the most sponsor appeal/marketing potential.

Sounds like hydraulic pressure failure

Looks like Stroll is in for engine and gearbox change which will see him get a 5 place grid penalty. Felipe's super soft tyre run ruined by Verstappen's spin. Not a great session for Williams.

Massa would smash PDR. Ridiculous if true.

Every journalist says something different. There's case for Di Resta of course. Very good tech feedback, apolitical, team player . . . and Kravitz states categorically he was faster than Kubica in the 'shootout', Added to which, of course, he would probably drive for nothing.

The Swiss newspaper Blick reports that the favourites now are Robert Kubica and Toro Rosso refugee Daniil Kvyat, with the latter said to be promising some important Russian sponsorship.

It's still rumour and speculation. Herbert had just spoken to Kvyat and there had been contact and nothing more.

Of course Herbert will say that as Di Resta works alongside them...

Not so sure about that, plus Di Resta will cost 5 less money than Massa.
