Brazilian Race

Well the race is up soon and it is going to sort of been a repeat of the last couple of races where he had Massa with the opportunity to score points and Stroll looking to get somewhere close to the top ten.

This late in the season and with the team turned more to 2018 it's what we should expect Andrew, Massa could have been a little more up grid and Stroll, well the engine issue blew it for him.

Normaly it would be around P7 and P11 or 12, with Hamilton going off in Q1 Massa could have got a 5th or 6th with Ricciardo penalty but it is what it is.

Marco Cardoso

I've been wrong before and i'll be wrong again.

Well the car appears to be quite competitive hear if Massa can gain a few places at the start then i am saying 5th or 6th is up for grabs.

I want to see Massa with his overtaking head on today

Stroll needs to have a word with himself and grab a point or 2 with the
speed available in the car having chocked in qualie yet again.

Nice clean fast race please.

Well, I shall be rooting for Bottas. I think Kimi looked good this weekend but he won't be allowed to race Seb.

Watching Brundle's grid walk. 'Massa has already been crying in the car', he reports.

All got your hankies ready?

Francesc???

Good to bring Massa in early. He has time in hand over the Renaults . . . it's all he has to worry about.

Good/decent job by Fil. Awful by Lance. Couldn't overtake Grojean who was on 30 lap old tires!! and destroyed his in process. We should be looking for 2 drivers not one. Hulk was thrown away after 1 season even though he was far better. He even got a pole (for crying out loud). But money talks!

Edit: I guess 5th is secured

Wow contrasting fortunes between the two drivers, great race by Massa, awful by Stroll. Next season we will struggle against FI, Renault and Mclaren if he really doesn't up his game.

Again good work on strategy by the team.

Bottas hasn't had a good race he'll be lucky to be at Merc in 19, Grosjean penalty, for as much as I hate his moaning was a joke. Him and K Mag aren't adding much to F1 at the moment though, they could struggle v Sauber next year once Sauber has a current spec engine.

Good race for Massa. We have to pit Lance, as he want but we didn't.

And again can't see any Williams / Massa merch in crowd.

Nice result for Massa, almost definitely secured P5 as well.

Another worrying weekend for Stroll, nowhere on pace all weekend and too many silly mistakes again. I think we can forgive the mistakes in a rookie season but the lack of pace relative to Massa is terrible (and we know Massa is 3/10 too slow!)

Wasn't looking at live timing just the leaderboard gaps, but looks as if Stroll was 1 second a lap off Felipe throughout the race.

Anyway, much better effort from Massa than last year. I am sure that has ended any Renault challenge . . . and they only made up one point against STR.
