Thanks,

Next question, can you name three drivers that moved from McLaren to Williams whilst competing in their consecutive races?

If that makes no sense eg their ninth GP was in a Williams, their 10th a McLaren

Ooh that has stumped me, I can think they other way round Williams to McLaren but not as per question, that must have occurred before I started to get into F1.

not correct Albi, because Montoya moved from Williams to McLaren (Sm14)

Sorry, my fault, Iíve wrote the question the wrong way around it is Williams to McLaren!

Albi-Quin is correct, sorry Damon96

Nigel Mansell is another driver AUS 1994 - SMR 1995

I believe there is only Ayrton Senna who moved in the opposite direction

Over to you Albi-Quin

Heh no worries, I was really stumped the other way round!

Can I throw in Mansell, would he not count, didn't he compete in the last race for Williams in 94 then his next race was Mclaren in 95, although he din't start at the beginning of the season?

Yes Mansell does count as they were his consecutive races, I worded the question that way as I had forgotten Montoya so only hand three with K Rosberg, Mansell and Coulthard but Mansell had missed two GPs some may not have concidered him.

We could do with a question otherwise off season will feel even longer!

Okay, here you go. Sorry for the delay.

Between 1980 and 1987 who were the two stand in drivers (one off races ) for Williams?
What races, years and who did they replace?

Mario Andretti, 1982, Long Beach I think, replaced Carlos Reutemann in car no. 5
Riccardo Patrese, 1987, Australia replaced Nigel Mansell in car no. 5

Was dubious about saying Patrese as he did then continue with Williams in 1988 albeit in car no. 6

Ahh I just couldn't remember if Coulthard had won or not.

Ok I'll try, although I hope my memory is working righ, bit of a Hill one.

During the 93 season Hill retired from two races in a row then won the third, his first victory.

What three races were they and what were the reasons for Hill retiring.

Britain - engine failure
Germany - puncture

If Hill had got those victories which did look certain on pace, he would have had a good shot at the championship, he would have had 89 points to Prostís 91 (8 points less from being second in GBR and GER not first) and he was challenging Prost for second in AUS before he spun

Well, my humble opinion is on Darron being right.

If I may ask a question..? Who was the last World Champion being crowned, without ever scoring a pole position in the year of his championship?
