We have to pick a point in time so it has to be Aus quali or end of season points I guess? On Aus quali I reckon the following and this is based on the highest placed car in the team. The other one is ignored.

Merc
RBR
Ferrari
Renault
Mclaren
Haas
Williams
Force India
Torro
Sauber

I guess that Williams will be somewhere between P2 and P10, Mercedes will be higher than P9 and Sauber lower than P2.

I personally think all bets are off until Bahrain. For Q this a reasonable guess but I'd put Williams further down - our boys are no match for Perez and Ocon.

My only change would be to rank RBR ahead of Mercedes.

Hard to tell about the big three - but I wonder about Vettel's mood swings and Ferrari's no 2 strategies for Kimi are often counter productive.

I think Haas might surprise too . . . certainly in the early part of the season. Last year's car was quick . . . on the few occasions they got it all in the window, it outpaced the Force India. It's said they have solved the tyre and brake issues.

STR was impressive in testing, but Hartley and Gasly aren't superstars yet.

I think McLaren, like Williams, will have some teething problems.

Not only the big three Gunk. Everything I hard to say. Because Sauber was quick at times. Haas was. Force India was and so forth. It is quite difficult to name any pecking order.

My only switch is moving Force India up, they shouldn't be there by car quality but as a team always seem to deliver more than they should and they have consistent drivers.
