Well here we go again. Is it going to be another disaster of a weekend. Time will tell.

After first runs Sirotkin ahead of Stroll by a considerable margin.

I think we are testing different setups on each car

Looks like it with the drivers running on different tyres for their second runs. But Stroll is so much slower than Sirotkin by 0.5

Sky told that there are no updates planned till Barcelona and that Claire had a meeting with Paddy after or during Bahrain GP.

Not much they can do for this race but I am surprised that we have to wait until Spain before any updates are seen. They need to throw things at the car as it is just a pig of a car.

We probably dont have the money to throw the updates at this car so we need to be certain what we really need to fix first and thats why we will wait till Spain.

Also seems like we could at least fight with Sauber here.

Stroll is turning out to be such a disappointment. A year in F1 under his belt and he just cant set a quick time, well as quick as the FW41 will allow him. FP1 saw him 0.5 off Sirotkin's time on the soft tyre.

More likely that there is no point bringing the original updates as they do not help the current situation. Not doing so means they can work harder in the right direction

it is easy now all they have to do is go in the complete opposite direction to what they have now LOL.

I hope Sirotkin did his time on mediums and not softs because both Saubers are less than 0.2s off us on mediums

FP2 and we get to see the ultrasoft tyres and Sirotkin is still well ahead of Stroll by 0.783. And this is at a circuit where Sergey has never run.

I think they likely are. You don't run variable fuel loads only tyres and minor setup tweaks in practice. The data you want on both cars needs to be consistent for setup data.
