Re: You heard it here first....

When I think about it Ferrari have screwed Vettel over big time, They have put Leclerc in the other Ferrari and Leclerc is a driver who will beat Vettel in the same machinery.

By putting Leclerc as Vettel's team mate Ferrari have basically f#cked Vettel big time.

Remember what I said ages ago guys, Leclerc will win the 2019 WDC.

I've got $$$ on Leclerc at er, I think 11/1 for the title.

I think he'll mess with VET's head and we know when VET gets flustered he makes mistakes. I don't see that in LEC. He's going to figure big time over the next 10-15 years. Nice lad too.

If I had even odds on all drivers I would put my money on HAM again, just because he is the finished product and Merc will probably pull the gap back. But 11/1 are really good odds on this lad as I don't think he'll be phased at all and already looks quicker than VET.

I suppose I would compare him to Marquez in MotoGP. I had money on him too on his debut.

Good stuff Ozzy...I have got no money on Leclerc to win the 2019 WDC but as you can see from the start of this thread I tipped Leclerc to win the 2019 WDC a long time ago...thumbs down

Go back to the very first post in this thread and you will see that I called this in November last year.

I am such a champion for tipping this (Sm152)

LOL, Leclerc is almost 20 poitns behind Merc drivers in WDC but you are already happy to be "right". Shows how often you get things wrong and how you need to settle for such small and premature celebrations.

Bump....Go Leclerc.

Leclerc is the best (Sm152)

Whitey, are you still 100% sure that Leclerc will win the 2019 Formula 1 WDC?

It doesn't look good for Leclerc because he is already 32 points behind Hamilton after just 3 races. sad smiley I'm afraid that Leclerc will not win the 2019 Formula 1 WDC.

32 points is a lot of gap. It's a shame that Leclerc is already so far behind after just 3 races. sad smiley He is even behind Verstappen in the standings.

Yes I am still 100% sure Leclerc will win the 2019 Formula 1 WDC, there is still plenty of races left for Leclerc to catch Hamilton and Bottas, just you wait and see.

32 points is nothing, there is still a long long way to go in this years WDC.

I hope Leclerc does something crazy in the race tomorrow, otherwise his gap to WDC leader will grow for the 4th consecutive race. sad smiley He was the quickest all weekend but crashed in Q. sad smiley It doesn't bode well for his WDC chances. sad smiley

I think Leclerc can recover from 10th, provided he doesn't have to start from the pits. He was clearly fastest all weekend and it's easy to overtake here.

He has good form at this track, including his F2 win two years ago, a few days after his father passed away.

Still 100% sure?

Hamilton now has almost twice as many points as Leclerc. sad smiley

I underestimated the Mercedes this year I now think Leclerc has only a 1% chance of winning the 2019 WDC.
