Mirrors are still an elegant piece not to be confused with something hastily put together. The suspension difference is minimal. The only detail I'm still depressed every time I see it is the ridiculous opening at the back of the car. I mean come on Williams Mercedes barely has an opening and we've got a manhole.

Are you taking about the rear difusser. I have looked at photos of both cars and they appear to look quite similar. What is the Williams lacking.

I think he's reffering to the hole, that sidepods make at the end, where the exhaust is located.

Correct the cooling outlet it's antisocially large

Yes I see what you mean. Thanks. There is a major difference.

It's not like we need to have a Merc-like minimal opening. Other teams have this hole as big as ours and they are just fine speed-wise. I think its just the way we are using the sidepods to guide the air into the coke-botle and the rear wing strakes plus it will allow us to not worry about the cooling during some hottest races.

I have to say, despite all the drama going into this season, I am considerably more excited than prior to the first race last year. I think it comes down to the new driver pairing; Kubicka/Russell is just way more appealing to me than Stroll/Sirotkin (still with all proper respect to Sergei).

Perhaps I am just buying into the marketing, but it does indeed feel like a new beginning for the team. I won't be expecting much at the beginning of the season, but will be delighted by any and every small sign of progress.

I agree. I’m 98% sure that this season is going to be another really difficult one as a Williams fan, but I am excited to see how our new drivers do, and having drivers that you can get behind is something Williams has lacked for a while, IMO.

I’m just really ready for a Grand Prix!! It’s been a long winter... 😬

Yep and they will likely be the cars closest to us in performance. Having those big outlets massively effects the rear wing and diffuser efficiency

Orlen logo also on the front wing endplates?

Any decent whole shots of the car?

Doug McKiernan overseeing the scruteneering.

The car looks much better with sponsor logos on the wings endplates.

Last shot shows a new Rexona logo on the rear wing endplate. Has their deal been enhanced?

Rexona on the sidepods is without the white lining surrounding the lettering. So it's the basic launch livery without the nice tweaks that we saw during testing.

It looks like they decided to sell additional space on the car to the current sponsors (I guess for cheaper than it would normally cost) as they failed to secure more sponsors from outside.

Hmm the cooling outlet seems even bigger than the one we had during testing. Can these be some temporary sidepods? Seems strange there is no updated Rexona logo with the nice white outline on them.

Williams have been busy. It's amazing to see how we have evolved that quick already.

Someone is hard at work. Just look at the detailing in the lower wing end plates compared to Spain.

You mean like the exact same we had all the time during testing? It's exectly the same rear end we had during testing bar the cooling outlet! It's just that in the Spain pic the lowe area of the rear wing is very dark and it's hard to see the strakes there.
