That has come as quite a shock!!! 66 is far too young to die. He had what was the most stressful job in F1. He will be greatly missed by many. A very nice guy.

Sad news.
I remember that near the end of last season Marcin Budkowski (once expected by many to be Charlie successor) said in an interview that he achieved all he could in FIA structures and there were no sights for promotion as Charlie career seemed to be endless.

What a great guy. There have been complaints about some of his decisions especially surrounding wet races, but everything he did was made from his vast experience of the sport and with the drivers safety in mind. I'm sure there will be fitting tributes over the weekend and I hope the person stepping in honours is safety first approach.

Really sad news. That man has been such an integral part of F1 for a very long time. It seems as though he was liked and respected by the teams and drivers, too.

Depends on you health status. There are some factors that makes the risk higher. Still, big loss. May he rest in peace, and now doing briefings for Senna, Bianchi, Hunt etc. winking smiley

Really sad news, was a massive part of the F1 family, will be so strange on Sunday not seeing him starting the race.
