Questions for Mark

Growler, what do you think about getting some questions posted in this forum and getting one of the guys going to the fan club dinner to ask them for us?

I'm not a member *drops head*, so I can't go. I have questions however! =)

Post them here then - any volunteers to ask a selection of the best ones at the dinner for us?

Racing Bulls: What part of your season career do you take pride in the most.

Racing Bulls: Do you understand coffee?

Racing Bulls: How is life as a team owner?

By the way, I think whoever ask's the questions can choose for himself which ones he will ask at the time.

Yeah - I'm happy to ask.

Keep 'em coming.

Not sure I'll be asking the one about coffee.....

I'll try as well, but giev we are expecting quite a crowd, I'd suggest there won't be much chance to ask a list of questions of him...

Will do my best.

Yeah I though the coffee one might have required a bit too much prior knowledge.

Was hard to figure out a question that I wouldn't feel like a lunatic asking.

Ask Mark if this will be his year? Seriously though have lots of fun and remember if you drink don't drive.

I try and ask him questions he hasn't been asked a thousand times already by the (largely) ignorant local media...

I actually want to try and ask Roger a question this year, he's normally there!

Love the Roger!

If someone could ask him what the drivers thought of the Singapore almost-a-penalty last year, with both drivers being off the track, I'd like to know if that was something they'd been told about before, or if the stewards were just dicking with great racing?

Oh, also, his grid slot in Bahrain, did he just miss his marks or did the car jump/roll forward at some point by mistake? smiling smiley

Does he plan on overtaking anyone on track this season?

I've already got a shedload of questions i'll be asking Mark on the night thanks.

Remember, it's a Supporter's Club event, it's not really the time to get all controversial, but Mark doesn't mind challenging questions apparently. I'm going to vet my more... challenging questions... past Dave Aldridge who runs the MWSC first.... I dont want to @#$%& Mark off in any way.

After that, ask him about the tyres.

^ hahahahaha! (Sm6)

I've got some really good stuff to ask him about actually.

Briefly:

* how Helmut Marko reacted after his win in Germany;
* (in a gentle way) what's up with his qualifying over the past year or so;
* if, for whatever reason, RBR didn't renew his contract for 2011, would he consider a move to another team thats maybe going to be lower on the grid;
* being a team owner: has it changed the relationship with Christian Horner in any way;
* Is Flavio still involved in his management given the FIA stating that drivers in his stable wouldnt have their superlicence renewed

a few other (more controversial) ones in mind too, but i'll decide whather to ask them based on the mood of the room (and the mood of Mark) on the night.

SS, we on the same wavelength questions-wise?

I'd be very interested to hear about his take on the next generation of Red Bull drivers (or any rookies) and who he sees as a future super star?

*prays he'll say Daniel*

Also, I'd be very keen to hear about his aspirations post F1. Team Owner/Principle, Driver Manager, Pundit, Hobby Farmer etc?

I thought about asking him about Ricciardo, but isn't that like asking your wife about your new girlfriend?

I think he'd be a reasonable enough bloke to recognise that he won't be there forever. He may think Daniel is a flash in the pan and identify some other young pilot as the next must have driver.

I'm not sure how appropriate that one is to ask mate, maybe you can get SS to ask it. smiling smiley

Just while i'm here, Mark will be getting a new and lighter weight chassis for Melbourne - confirmed by Dave on the phone in the last hour. Will allow him to shift the ballast a bit more favourably. smiling smiley

edit: lol, it's in the video interview haha! dont mind me, i'll go back to sleep now.

I'll post what I remember of the answers sure, the problem is that it's not really kosher to record it.... I could see mark clamming up if he thought it might end up on YouTube.

It's ok. I'm not Jewish.

I understand your point though, and how the press can twist marks honest nature into drama.

Just text please. And if your willing to share, but not so publicly, maybe a PM?
