I don't know LH but one possibility is that he got a warning for yellows without knowing where it was and slowed accordingly. The point I was trying to make being that there is no doubt he could go much quicker in that sector as he showed a couple of laps later. Not to mention that he ran more laps than Hamilton in that run suggesting, given all other things being equal, he may have been carrying more fuel.
What's with the effing morning show buffoons! Might as well get the circle and Dr Phil and have a real love in. What a joke. I guess this is comes under the "less focus on sport centric"...........pfft.
chrislinford Don't see how Ferrari are ahead of us.
Well I said possibly because it's a bit hard to know right now... But in Q1 Alonso out performed both Red Bulls. In Q2 Alonso didn't get to set his best time, but even still he was only 2 tenths off Webber.
No KERS again. This is getting to be a bit of an early season habit for Red Bull.
I think the Mclaren is supposed to be pretty good on tyres so this may be a race between those two. Time will tell. I reckon RBR can get the Lotus in the race but I can't see them catching Mclaren here unless there is some kind of drama or bad starts etc.
To be honest there is only one car worse than Ferrari at turn 1-2 and that was HRT which has not made the race.. They do not look good at all with alot of work to do Alonso best driver on the grid in the worst car!! Poor dude feel sorry for him..
Looking forward to an interesting day with not much between the top 4 teams!! Not sure if anyone can touch up the Ham in saying that, he just looked on his game more than anyone!!
Anyways must run off to the race!! Everyone enjoy themselves and good luck RBR
Alonso chose the money and threw away his chance at Mclaren because he couldn't handle having equal status with his team mate. Granted he is one of the best of all time but he got done over by a rookie and blew his top. Now he's paying for that exclusive number 1 status. He's the best in his team for sure. Hope he feels great about that.
I think 2 things could happen and it's all about tyres. If they hold up, Lewis will run away with this race. If not and they are falling to bits, you have to bet on Button to put one over on him.
Mercedes looks hard on tyres so you have to discount Michael but we don't really know yet. Maybe that's not the case. Romain is the dark horse here but he looks like he's got it all together and can put in a good drive.
Are Red Bull really 7 tenths off the pace? It looks that way, it really does. In which case they won't factor in the race and maybe we'll get to see just how good Vettel really is. Or, quali was an anomoly and they'll find pace in the race.
You have to say though that last year, RBR did most of the job in quali and just converted the races. Mclaren were often a match or better but couldn't qualify high enough.
