With Heidfeld widely regarded as the outsider at taking a seat in one of the Mercedes powered teams, and hearing that Button's move to Mclaren could be announced within 48 hours, Heidfeld could team up with Rosberg. If not, there's always the Mclaren seat. But our sources close to BrawnGP -or MercedesGP if you prefer so- and other journalists have repeatedly said Raikkonen isn't really an option for Brawn; as well Kimi himself admitted a few days ago that Mclaren was his only option.
It is very unlikely that former Mercedes protege Nick Heidfeld will remain at Sauber.
On a final note, Kimi's manager also said that the Finnish driver will contest some Rally (WRC?) races, and probably Le Mans.
From here we would like to wish Kimi best luck in the future, and would still love to see him back in 2011.
Expect the events to accelerate, and very important things to happen this week.
