I'ver always liked Trulli - I got his autograph at the '07 USGP & he seemed like a very decent, approachable guy - but I have to wonder if it isn't time for him to move on from F1. Kovi has been around long enough now that he should be plenty capable of playing the role of 'senior' driver and car developer IMO.

I like Trulli and he seems a nice guy but he's no Prost. But would you replace him with Petrov? No. Jarno may be in the twilight of his F1 career but Vitaly has nothing on him really.

Caterham missed a trick and should have got Bruno Senna's money in my view. As it is, if they can build a good car, Kovy and Trulli should bring home the bacon more often than not. I see no point in putting Petrov in the car unless he brings mega bucks.

One would think that Fernandes has put stable funding in place for the team, so should be choosing drivers on merit.

Petrov has done nothing to warrant his place in F1 in my view. If I was Tony I would put Alguersuari in without a thought.

He's young, a good racer and gives good feedback. He may also be more motivated to drive a middling cat than Trulli...and keep Kovy on his toes a bit more.

Jarno was at his best in the Toyota years in my opinion and is now a bit long in the tooth. He was always a "car had to be perfect" kind of driver and this will not happen with Loterham even if they make a big leap this year. I strongly beleive he is the wrong driver for the job.

Some good arguments there Funkster. Most people say Trulli was best at Renault but I think Button had him covered with no problem, even if the points and results don't show that.

I too would like to see Jamie in F1 for another chance. I think he can do it. Not sure why it didn't show at Torro Rosso. I can't blame that team for shaking it all up.

Good reasons for Caterham to hire Trulli from day 1 but this has to be his last season.

I guess a big step forward with the car may bring the interest of some more serious drivers? I just hope they don't end up with Massa in 2013. Mark my words.
