"Yes, I will fight for the victory here, whatever the conditions," said the Brazilian, who is returning to the Hungaroring circuit where he suffered life-threatening head injuries last year.
On asked whether he will play second fiddle to Alonso if a similar situation arises again this weekend, he said, "I will win."
"The time I say that I am a No 2 driver, I will not race any more."
Alonso is now leading Felipe with 38 points in the championship and closing on the leader Lewis Hamilton.
Felipe Massa who had a great run at the circuit in 2008, until his Ferrari engine blew up, is all geared to give his best here once again.
The circuit's slow twists and turns suits the Ferrari F10 and the team would be looking for a repeat of last weekend's 1-2 finish, minus any controversies.
