It is expected that Arrows will start their first public test of 2002 on Wednesday afternoon, alongside the rest of their attending competitors. Enrique Bernoldi was driving for the team today, and is expected to do the same for the team at Valencia.
It is also possible that a second driver will also be present to take part at Valencia. According to a quote released by F1Racing.net, there is a strong possibility that this second driver may be announced as the team mate to Bernoldi - possibly later this week. This news has some added meaning as ITV-F1's journalist 'The Mole' has hinted strongly that Frentzen will only drive for Arrows if the A23-Cosworth combination is a good car, and therefore be benefitial career-wise to drive. 'The Mole' believes that if Frentzen isn't happy with the Arrows package then he would be better sitting out the year, whilst Jordan pays his salary (assuming he wins his court battle with his former employer).

"Nothing is confirmed yet, and we're not sure if the second driver will be announced this week, but if it will be he will probably be testing for the team in Valencia this week," the team has been quoted as saying. The quote can be read many ways, but my reading is that the team will make an announcement on Wednesday (during the morning perhaps) and then run the new car with the confirmed face in the afternoon. It is important to note that nothing here is confirmed, and that this is entirely speculatory - but it is also completely possible.

In addition F1Racing.net believes that a launch date for the new car will be announced soon also.
