Nico Rosberg
would continue the driving duties on the third day of this week's AT&T
Williams test at the Circuit de Catalunya near Barcelona. The team would be
confronted by an overcast morning but the clouds would clear by the
afternoon.
Nico
would spend the day working on preparations for next week's Spanish Grand
Prix. But the morning session would see Nico suffer a technical problem
which would limit his running. Nico would only complete fifteen laps during
the morning. But in the afternoon session Nico would be the first to return
to the track finishing the day with the fifth fastest time, 1m:19.841.
Williams Test Team Manager
Dickie Stanford commented: “Today Nico worked with the standard 2008 race
tyre and carried out set-up preparations
for the Spanish Grand Prix here next week. A minor mechanical problem
hindered progress this morning, but the issue was quickly resolved and we
had a productive session in the afternoon. Kazuki will take over for the
last day of running tomorrow, during which we will continue set-up work for
the race.”
