The AT&T Williams team’s 2009 season race car, the Williams Toyota FW31, took to the track at the Algarve circuit in Portugal this morning for a shakedown prior to starting its winter testing in earnest tomorrow. The team’s test driver, Nico Hulkenberg, is taking on the responsibility of shaking down the new race car before regular race driver, Nico Rosberg and his team-mate, Kazuki Nakajima, have the opportunity. The car was displayed in its test livery with Philips logo's taking a dominate positioning on the car. RBS sponsorship was still to be seen on the car despite the upheaval in the banking sector. Randstad logo's have taken the place of the Reuters logo's on the cockpit sides. The Reuters logos have moved to the front of the car. |
