It means 30cm longer than FW30 but wheelbase remains the same...maybe that's why it looks like to be a lot shorter wheelbase when looking at fw31 pics.
i haven't been able to access other teams specs to ascertain the wheelbase measurments for a comparison. if anyone has those figures they would make for an interesting discussion as wheelbase is a contentious issue on whether the car is competetive on all circuits or just a few.
