By Ian Lockwood January 16 2008 Red Bull Racing unveiled their 2008 contender - the RB4 at a damp Jerez circuit this morning. The RB4 is the second car to be designed for Red Bull by Adrian Newey. The car is a clear evolution of the RB3 and hopes are high that lessons learnt from its predecessor, combined with much improved reliability will see the team take step closer to the front.
The most obvious change to me is how tighlty packed the back of the car is. That area looks extremely slick but I ahve to say I was expecting some more changes at the front. Could there be a new front wing coming? Who knows maybe I just need to see more pictures.
I am also disappointed to see that they haven't been able to engineer the wheel covers.
I love it, newish livery, should be a good car IF we can sort reliability. Big changes have occurred on things we can't see, and the fact that it takes a similar shape to RB3 proves that aero on the RB3 was good.
