What began as lines on Chief Technical Officer Adrian Newey's drawing board - and yes, he does still prefer pen and paper - has now been honed, designed, manufactured, polished and primed ready for Sebastian Vettel to fire up in a couple of days time in the early morning in Jerez.
As well as the race team's activity, there has also been a shift up in gear in marketing activity: in the past few days the official press pictures of both Mark and Sebastian were taken in studios in London and the car's first photoshoot took place in the Factory.
Join us here at www.RacingBulls.net on Monday, where we'll be following every activity from the dawn photocall of drivers, car and team management, through Seb's first lap to the final television interview of the day.
As well as interviews, stories and photos the RB5's launch, Monday will also see a major RacingBulls TV release demonstrating how the new rule changes have affected the car's design including a graphic explanation of Kers which even your grandmother would understand. So don't miss Monday's coverage.
