Fabrice, can you give us your verdict on the Monaco Grand Prix?
The result wasn't great. We only scored four points, which is one of our worst results since the start of the season. Sebastian had an accident and retired which is unusual for him, but Mark had a very solid race, showed great determination and remarkable consistency. He finished in fifth behind the two Brawns and two Ferraris who had a strong day on this unusual circuit.
For the next race of the season in Turkey, does the engine require any specific preparation and is it a challenging circuit for the engines?
Istanbul Park is a difficult track for the engines. The amount of full throttle, as well as the demands placed on the engine, are among the highest we experience these days in Formula 1. Also, it's one of those circuits where the engine power plays a really important role in the overall performance of the car. A strong engine can make the difference and in that regard it's a complete contrast with Monaco. Only the final section seems out of place with three very slow corners.
What are the main challenges that you will face at Istanbul Park?
Performance and reliability, as is the case for all circuits, but with particular importance on this demanding circuit. For example, turn 8 is a great challenge like nothing else all season: it's a very long left hand corner which we take flat-out in sixth gear. The engine is working at its maximum for more than 15 seconds while experiencing lateral acceleration of around 4G which forces the oil to one side and makes lubrication difficult. We are prepared for that and will try and cope with this issue and any others in the best way possible.
