McLaren Fans is expanding and has new and exciting ideas that will be hitting the web soon and many have already been launched such as new graphics and better media coverage. Next we would like to go into phase 2 and take it up a gear (unless your Red Bull kidding just kidding!) Could you run a site that believes in having a well balanced and moderated forum and that has a goal to beat other sites to news stories first and is totally devoted to there fans and what they think?  Could you see yourself working with highly motivated team of people who share the same passion as you?

We will provide training and guidance for all positions if needed The staff we require on the site and the criteria we are looking for is.

Before you start reading getting all excited please remember that this is voluntary basis and none who run any of the sport network sites get paid this is done purely on passion so please be grateful to whom gives up there time for your enjoyment!  So just to make this clear THERE IS NO PAYMENT INVOLVED THIS IS A VOLANTRY BASIS ON YOUR PART. Also I would like to stress that we are in no way connected to the real McLaren Mercedes Benz F1 team.

: GP2 Reporter

This job does exactly what it says on the tin. We would require you to write regular stories about the GP2 world. You must be free to write stories especially after a grand prix event and keep site viewers regularly up to date with the F1s feeder series.

>You must be 14 or older to do this job some exceptions will be made

>You must be have a good knowledge of the English language and you must be able to use a range of punctuation and vocabulary but we can help you with this

>you must be able to work we will others if your not a team player then your not for us.

>you must be able to accept critsism be it from regular fans or McLaren Fan staff but don’t worry were not that strict! 

>you must have confidence in what you write remember that sport network get 1000s of hits a day and anyone of them could be viewing your story!

>You must be able to take orders from other staff we will not take on any people who have a problem with authority and if you do then I’m sorry this may not be the job for you.

>You must be a fan of GP2 and have a good knowledge of the sport. Its no good if you don’t know about the sport have you ever tried writing about an Aunt Uncle or even next doors cat that you have never met? hard to imagine isn’t it? its the same here you MUST know something about the sport eve if its very little.

F1 Reporter

In this job you will be required to write articles about F1 and that could vary from race reports to the latest test in formula one.

> You must be able to get online 1 hour a day minimum 

>We like to stay up to  date with news even if it doesn’t concern McLaren it all helps somewhere so we would prefer if you checked other news sites and sources daily for news.

>Being able to work in a team

>You must be have a good knowledge of the English language and you must be able to use a range of punctuation and vocabulary but we can help you with this

>You MUST be a fan of Formula one and McLaren as its no good you being a Ferrari fan that would make you look biased in your reports.

>You MUST be able to churn out a story a week depending whats around and also you will be assigned to do other stories too eg the race report or friday practice. 

>Again we require you to be able to take orders from members of staff.
