By Sam Cooper
June 21 2007
Today marked the second day of testing at the Northamptonshire circuit, with early weather conditions looking good, however in the afternoon rain fell on the 5.1 km circuit, hampering the teams testing schedule, never the less, Pedro managed to get through 58 laps of the circuit or 298 km of running.

In the morning sun, the teams and drivers started to demolish the times that they set on the first day of testing yesterday. The days testing was more eventful than the last with Red Bulls Mark Webber stopped out on track bringing out the red flags and temporarily stopping the session.

The red flags didn’t stop Toyotas Jarno Trulli headed the field, the Italian ending the day first on a 01:21.420, just 0.1 seconds ahead of a heavily updated Ferrari, piloted by Kimi Räikkönen, the fin completing the 5.1 km circuit in 01:21.548.

Alexander Wurz showed some pace in the Williams, the Austrian was 0.4 of a second behind the Ferrari of Räikkönen. Pedro De La Rosa was a further tenth of a second behind Wurz.
