Massa Dominates Third Day Practise

Ferrari were once again top of the time sheets in the morning session of testing on day three at Hockenheim. Massa took over from Raikkonen and managed to better the F2008's performance although his time of 1m15.090s was still two tenths off Hamilton's fastest time from the day before.

Massa was the man to put Ferrari back at the top of the time sheets at testing In Hockenheim.

Taking over from Kimi Raikkonen he topped the timesheets with a time of 1m15.090s which was two tenths off Hamilton’s best time on Wednesday. 

Kovalainen was 0.2s behind the Brazilian in second place. Mark Webber followd him, just ahead of the Toro Rosso of Sebastian Vettel. 

Fernando Alonso completed 73 laps in his Renault, more than anyone else this morning and he finished fifth fastest. 

Taking over from team mate Nick Heidfeld, Kubica completed the morning’s session in sixth, followed by the Force India of Fisichella. 

Jarno Trulli had one trip out with a new ‘shark fin’ engine cover before switching back to the old cover for the rest of the session. 

Nakajima’s Williams caused the only interruption to proceedings when his car stopped on the circuit at turn three.
