Bad Weather Hampens MP4-24 tests
By Sam Cooper
January 20 2009
The rain at the Algarve circuit in Portugal has hindered tests for the second day of this weeks testing. The five teams present, would be hoping to do fairly extensive testing on their new cars, most of which have debuted this week.

As a precautinary measure, the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes formula one team deceided to bolt on their 2008 specification wing to their 2009 car, to increace the downforce in the appauling conditions.

McLaren's Pedro de la Rosa was the second fastest driver, (fastest running some kind of 2009 specification aerodynamics) behind Sebastian Beumi's Toro Rosso - who was running the STR03.

Running will continue tomorrow, where personell and fans alike will be hoping for dry weather, allowing us to compare the performance of the 2009 cars.
