McLaren Fans was founded in 2002 here on SportNetwork as a Forum based site, in a time when I hadn't even heard of SportNetwork.

In September the 10th 2006 I Tim Ingroville (along with Sam Cooper) took over the site as Karl went into retirement after a long rewarding history with sport network which I and the rest of the Mclaren Fans team wish him all the best for the future and whatever he decides to do next we hope he enjoys it.

With the help of my more experienced counterpart Sam Cooper a former mod from BMW sauber, Tim and myself continued to run the McLaren Site, even when our beloved site went through tough times, we managed to get through these tough times and the site is continuing to grow, much to my happiness.

Shortly after we took over, we appointed Nat as our reporter, so Tim and Myself could continue to add new features onto the site, while SycoDesigns did all our graphics, as you may have seen, Sam has previosly had a go at doing images and graphics.

As a good effect of our growth, we are appointing a new graphics designer, to help Bill (syco designs) with all the graphics, and a website designer, to do our new domain(which will be unvailed shortly).

 As i write this, May 2007 has been a very good month for us, and we sencerly hope that you enjoy this site.
