Last Blast for Lucky Strike: Goodbye Gallery
By Phil Huff
October 21 2006
To mark Lucky Strike's departure from the team and British American Tobacco's withdrawal from the world of motorsport, Lucky Strike will be running a revised livery for the weekend, on both the race cars and Friday's third car.
The race car livery is entitled 'Racing Forever' and the third car is known quite simply as our 'Goodbye' car.

The tattoo concept for the Racing Forever livery came about when Lucky Strike thought of different ways in which people mark significant events or moments in their lives. A tattoo is one of the most popular icons many choose as an indelible symbol to remember special associations and affiliations. Lucky Strike wanted a design that would be positive, commemorative and show that even though they are leaving F1, the Lucky Strike sponsorship has left a permanent mark on the team and the sport. The tattoos also have a very retro, old racing feel with a modern twist that matches Lucky Strike's brand ethos.

The Friday car design features a 'Goodbye' to every country that currently hosts a Grand Prix. From China to the US, the design is our way of bidding farewell to the F1 community around the world.
