Advantage Honda as CFD firm backs Brackley team

A BAR005 in CFD
By Phil Huff
April 30 2007
Advantage CFD, Honda Racing F1's computational fluid dynamics consultancy, has confirmed that is terminating its consultancy agreements with external customers to concentrate on the internal F1 programme.
Advantage CFD was originally part of the Reynard Motorsport group, and was taken over by British American Racing. The company continued to carry out CFD works for external clients as well as BAR, and latterly Honda Racing F1.

However, following the disastrous start to the 2007 season, the wholly owned subsidiary has terminated all of its external contracts and will focus solely on improving the RA107 and developing the RA108.
