No Schumacher buy out for Brackley

Michael Schumacher will not be buying in to the beleaguered Honda Racing F1 team, at least according to his spokesperson, Sabine Khem. It was speculated that Schumacher and Brawn, known to have had lengthy contact over the Christmas period, may have been discussing a buyout of the Brackley facility.

Michael Schumacher will not be buying in to the beleaguered Honda Racing F1 team, at least according to his spokesperson, Sabine Khem. It was speculated that Schumacher and Brawn, known to have had lengthy contact over the Christmas period, may have been discussing a buyout of the Brackley facility.
RealHondaF1.com did label the speculation as 'unlikely', and now it's been confirmed as false. "Ross and Michael are still friends, that's true," explained Khem, "but Michael's involvement with Honda is limited to the IDM."
The IDM is the German SuperBike series that Schumacher occasionally races in, riding a Honda CBR1000RR run by series champions Holzhauer Racing.
