Brawn: Schumacher still has the talent and ability
By Phil Huff
January 7 2010
Ross Brawn is in no doubt that Michael Schumacher still has the same skill and determination that saw him rack up seven Formula One World Championships in the past.

Basing his judgement on some of the German’s recent displays in other motorsport events, where he has performed strongly and taken some notable scalps, the Mercedes GP Team Principal has no concerns over Schumacher for the upcoming season, despite him being the oldest driver on the grid at 41.

"I have got no doubts that the talent and the ability are still there," Brawn told Autosport. "You see little flashes of it when he takes part in competitions like the Race of Champions and karting races.

"They are not an absolute measure, but always the same guys win in them that win in Formula One. The guys that Schumacher beat in those events says a lot."
