Ron Meadows left school and joined TWR as a mechanic in 1980, moving upwards rapidly to become the teams Chief Mechanic in their French Touring Car outfit.

Then followed a period of gaining experience in a number of different roles in different teams, before settling down to more Chief Mechanic work with Formula 3000 team Middlebridge Engineering in 1987.

Moving up to a Team Manager role, Ron then left to run the Vortex F3000 team in 1991, running drivers such as Heinz-Harald Frentzen and David Coulthard.

A move trans-Atlantic in 1995 saw Meadows operating as Team Manager for Walker Racing, a successful IndyCar team, culminating in a second place in the championship in 1997.

Joining British American Racing at the very earliest stage, Ron took on a project leader role, developing the teams new buildings and facilities. Once sorted, he moved to the Race Team Manager role in 2000, and has remained in that position since.

Ron continues in 2007, running the re-energised Honda Racing F1 Team.
