Canadian GP: Starting Grid
By Luke Marc Carlile-Stanton June 8 2008
Round Seven of the championship takes place in Canada. The Panasonic Toyota Racing team however will today start outside the top ten with both drivers for the first time this season. Lewis Hamilton took pole position in the Mclaren for the second season in a row.

Timo Glock will start 11th whilst Jarno will be 14th on the grid. It was a dissapointing outcome for the team.

Joining Hamilton on the front row of the grid at the Gilles Villeneuve circuit will be BMW-Sauber driver Robert Kubica. The Polish driver took provisional pole with minutes to go but Hamilton's final lap was enough to over throw the highly rated Pole.

World Champion Kimi Raikkonen is third in the Ferrari ahead of a great effort from former double world champion Fernando Alonso in the Renault. Nico Rosberg in the Toyota powered Williams and Felipe Massa's Ferrari round out the top six.

Sebastian Bourdais takes a gearbox penalty in his Scuderia Toro Rosso and is 19th and i joined by team mate Sebastian Vettel who did not take part in Quailifying due to an accident in Saturday practice.
