Hungarian Grand Prix: Friday Round up

Round 11 of the 2008 Formula One World Championship is the Hungarian at the Hungaroring in Budapest. Today the action got underway in Friday practice and it saw a sold start for the Toyota F1 team with both drivers getting inside the top 10 in the first practice session and Jarno finishing ninth and Timo eleventh in the second session...

The Mclaren-Mercedes and Scuderia Ferrari battle is set to commence here this weekend and in the first session it was Ferrari with the upper hand with Felipe Massa finishing first on a time of 1:20.981 just ahead of team mate and World Champion Kimi Raikkonen with Heikki Just ahaed of Hamilton and the lead Mclaren in third.

Renault driver Fernando Alonso was fifth.

In session two it was the Mclaren drivers who broke free finishing first and third with Hamilton ahaed of Heikki. They were split though by Nelson Piquet Jr in the Renault. Team mate Alonso was foruth just ahead of the two Ferrari's with Raikkonen fifth and Massa sixth.
