Briscoe still a part of Toyota's programme

Still in

January 9 2003
Yesterday, alongside the launch of Toyota's new car for the 2003 season, came the news that the team had signed talented Brazilian Ricardo Zonta as a third (test) driver. The press release from the team made no mention of 2002 testers Briscoe and Sarrazin....
Today news has come that Ryan Briscoe at least is safe within the Toyota fold, despite being absent from the official launch proceedings of yesterday. A Toyota spokesperson has revealed to the popular F1 news site F1Racing.net that the Australian is still a part of the Toyota Racing young drivers' programme, and that he will still occasionally test for the F1 team. In addition, Briscoe has been submitted to compete in the European Formula 3 series.

Unfortunately there has been no news with regard to Stephane Sarrazin, who also tested in 2002 alongside Briscoe.
