More WSS points and another podium for Craig Jones

Craig Jones, aboard his Reve Ekerold Honda, took yet more points and another podium during the final round of the World Supersport Championship, taking place at the French circuit of Magny-Cours yesterday, Sunday 7th October 2007. Battling with fellow Brit Tommy Hill, and Gianluca Vizziello, it was a three-way battle for third place.

Craig’s unmistakable tyre smoking rear sliding style won out in the end, and gave him his third podium of the season. Craig’s third placing hoisted him up the ranking to fifth place overall.

This has certainly been an up and down season for Craig, but with his last three races he has certainly shown that he can run with the leaders. Craig is in talks with various people about where he will be next year; having already stated that he wishes to stay in the World series, hopefully Craig’s season next year will get off to a better start than this season.
