Words fail me, but I can say this - he was an incredible man, who put more into life than anyone could in a multiple of lifetimes, in just 23years. Likeable, funny, and mischievous, plus an all round professional guy and a great ambassador for the sport of racing motorcycles.

He was a credit to his family - not many people knew of the man behind the leathers, but if there was fun to be had, Craig would be there in the thick of it. He was larger than life itself, never ever turning away a fan who wanted a photograph with him, or him to sign anything, Craig always obliged. Any obstacles put in Craig’s way during his race career he faced head on and beat them all.

On the verge of even greater things ahead of him, Craig’s determination was there for all to see. I spoke to Craig before he set off for his race, and his main concern was to show his fans he was back to winning ways. He certainly was - the race that unfolded that day ended tragically for Craig, but up until that moment it was the most thrilling race I have ever encountered, the lead changing virtually at every corner between himself and his friend Jonathan Rea. Exciting isn't the correct term but electrifying is.
Craig will be greatly missed by all who knew him, and I am forever in his debt for the exciting riding style Craig possessed and for the entertainment he gave, not just to me but for others worldwide. My sincere condolences are with his family and friends at this time.
Rest in Peace Craig, you will never be forgotten.
