Banks to keep Ecclestone involved

Bernie to be kept
By Josh Barnett January 22 2005
The SLEC have no intention of terminating Ecclestone's involement in the sport even after they won a court case against the F1 supremo.
Gerhard Gribowsky, the chairman of the F1 holding company, said: "We would have to be badly advised to get rid of a figure such as Ecclestone. But there is a limit. We'll not except a role in which we carry the risks and are ready to fight for our own position. Our aim is to guarantee the sport's long-term stability."
