Gary Paffett wants DTM title in 2005
By Josh Barnett
January 22 2005
Young Briton, Gary Paffett, wants to win the 2005 DTM title after narrowly missing out in 2004.

After signing a new contract with AMG Mercedes Paffett wants the title after just missing out to Mattias Elkstrom last season.

He established himself as a force to be reckoned with in the last series after a strong first season in the championship with the leading works team.

After gaining experience Gary is very excited about the new season.

Talking to crash.net Paffett said:
It should be great, we are looking to win the title after finishing second last year and we need to go one better. As a team, Mercedes missed out on three titles to Audi, so we have work to do with the car to get it on top and then hopefully we can go out and win the championship."
