He was fighting for the second seat, alongside David Coulthard, with 2004 F3000 Champion, Vitantonio Liuzzi.

The Austrian will start as the the team mate to Coulthard at the Australian Grand Prix on 6 March.

Liuzzi has been given the job of Friday tester.

Christian Horner did say though that the situation between the drivers would continuely be assessed throughout the season meaning that Liuzzi may be given chances to race if Klien isn't performing brilliant.
