Felipe Massa Takes over Testing Duties

Team SAUBER PETRONAS continued its three-day test at the Autodromo Nazionale Monza today. Felipe Massa covered 90 laps in chassis C24-05 to set a best time of 1:22.015s. He will carry on tomorrow to complete the test.

Jacky Eeckelaert (Chief Race Engineer): "Today Felipe ran the scheduled medium downforce programme in preparation for the forthcoming two North American races, whereby the focus was on the United States Grand Prix. He used particularly the morning to set the car up according to his driving style. Later he assessed several Michelin tyres for Indianapolis to enable us to make a first decision this evening.
"Tomorrow he will verify the gathered aerodynamic data for us, but will also further work with Michelin on the tyre selection for Indianapolis."
