Not had anything to post up of late and have been thinking long and hard about how to keep the site up and running with a dearth of input. One of the reasons I took on this site was that I had hoped that after coming so close to losing comeonyouwarriors.co.uk a couple of years ago, visitors to the site may have been more inclined to contribute articles to keep the site from going down.

Well apart from 4 or 5 helpful souls, this hasn’t happen so you get to up with my ramblings once again.

So life as a Warriors fan 2 months into the season is still pretty much the same. We have won our ECC games, not done too well in the EDF and have won one game in the League. Lots of injuries, which are never helpful but the other teams, pretty much, seem to have those too.

So how to feel optimistic about how things are going to turn out for the season? Well look no further than the Academy and its products who have been asked to step up into the 1st team this season. With last years graduates, Miles, Tom, Matt M, James and Will all considered to be 1st fifteen candidates, new guys, Matt C, Charlie, Alex, Jake and Graham all seem to have been able to find the stuff to perform at the level they have been asked to step up to.

So looking to the future we again push on towards the middle and end of the season and do the club’s investment in the future on and off the field justice.

Don't forget Chris Pennell as well!
Apart from Pat's try the only other highlight in the 2nd half last Sunday was Chris' charge down which got a great response from those of us in the East Stand!
