Takuma Sato wants to stay!

Takuma Sato said he hopes to race for Super Aguri in 2008. He and the team are currently looking for the best possible deal for both parties. Super Aguri hasn't made any announcement yet regarding their driver line-up for 2008 and Sato is the first to say something about it.

Takuma Sato said he had many options for next season, but he hopes to stay at Super Aguri. Sato also talked about the team to GPUpdate.net:

"The 2008 season will be the third season for Super Aguri in Formula 1. In our first season we started a team from scratch. In our second year we achieved our goal, which was to score some points and not finishing last in the constructors' championship. If the team wants to take another step forward we need to be financially stable and able to develop the car throughout the season. My only aim for 2008 is to exceed this season's results."

Takuma Sato has been with Super Aguri since its creation. Some critics said in 2006 that the team was only created to keep Takuma Sato in Formula 1. He scored all the team's points in 2007, so we don't mind that. Cool
